Unpopular Opinion of Feminism

First off, I want to apologize for the late post this week.

Everything has been pretty hectic with assignments and exams.

Recently when I was looking through some of the new inventory at Old Mill Design & Exchange and I came across a really old book called The Ideal New Woman  by Tremaudan and it was published in 1898.

Right off the bat, the first page caught my eye.

Next, I would like to say that I have been silent about a lot of things, but reading this book, made my heart stir, and I felt as if I had to share.

Travel Blog: Philadelphia

 

In 2013, my friend Christy Alway and I went to Philadelphia.

As always most great adventures start on a plane..

For this trip, we flew out of Dayton and took the hour and a half flight to Philadelphia. It was my first time on an airplane back in 2013. & let me tell ya, one hour plane flights are my favorite.

Fruit Platters

 

So recently I have been seeing all of these delicious pictures of fruit & fruit platters that people are creating.

Back in December we had a small get together for my mom’s birthday, so I decided that it would be a perfect time to create one of my own.

Although December is not the best time to create a fruit platter in Ohio, I think that it turned out pretty well.

I think I will do it again in the summer when more fruit is in season such as watermelon, cantaloupe, and more berries.

I was also only able to buy one kiwi at the store because it was the only ripe one in the entire store, bummer.

Places to Visit: Portland, Oregon

Over the summer of 2016, I traveled to Portland, Oregon & I never really got around to sharing all of the wonderful pictures that my boyfriend and I took.

The reason we traveled to Oregon was for my Uncle Timothy’s 50th birthday. It was an amazing time. In one week we went to the Pacific Ocean, climbed Mt. Hood, visited the Columbia River Gorge, and had a day exploring the city, all while celebrating the birth of my awesome uncle.
